One of the things we're asked more and more often is if we also produce videos for corporate or non-profit clients? Without a doubt, the answer is yes. Back in June, we were asked to film Burnaby Hospital Foundation's 2012 "The Slice" Golf Tournament. It's a cause that is close to my heart, having grown up in Burnaby. I've been a patient at the hospital on a number of occasions and always been well taken care of. I've also visited family and friends while they were being cared for. Having had this type of personal experience at the hospital, it's clear that it's a huge part of the community and a place that Burnaby residents depend on greatly for health care.

So when we were asked to film this year's tournament, I enthusiastically said yes. Not only did we get to give back to an incredible organization, we had an opportunity to help Burnaby Hospital Foundation reach more people and develop greater awareness through video. Besides, a beautiful, sunny day on the golf course is a pretty good work day if you ask me.

Wait, scratch that last sentence. It wasn't sunny. It wasn't even cloudy. It poured.

Though it started out as a beautiful sunny morning, it quickly turned into a downpour. The funny thing is, people still had a fantastic time. Maybe it was because they were supporting a great cause. Or maybe all the participants were just a really good group of positive people (after all, they were the ones doing all the giving that day). Either way, it was a fantastic event. One that we're proud to be associated with.

We hope you enjoy this video from "The Slice" Golf Tournament at Riverway Golf Course in Burnaby, and we encourage you to leave a comment below.

Featurette: "The Happiest Days of Your Life"

The amount of effort that goes into putting on a theatre production is incredible. Directing, producing, set design, props, lighting, sound, costumes, makeup...and we haven't even mentioned the actors yet. Though this is the first year we've been a part of West Point Grey Academy's annual play, it's immediately apparent that there is a very talented group of people dedicated to its success.

This year, West Point Grey Academy chose John Dighton's farce "The Happiest Days of Your Life". We're currently producing the full video that encompasses all three acts of the production, but in the meantime enjoy this behind-the-scenes look.
